India’s ambitious Human Space Mission “Gaganyaan” will now get support from France in terms of life support and medicine for the Indian Space crew.

French CNES Space Agency Head Jean-Yves LeGall said that the agreement was made between CNES and Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).

This came at a time when India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that an Indian will be in space before 2022. With that announcement, 2022 became the deadline for the ISRO to complete the project.

Meanwhile, ISRO already has started gearing for the mission and has already tested the escape module. It will soon conduct the second test of the Scale Down Crew Module.
