In a move to improve the ties between the India and Japan, both countries are now planning to conduct a joint military exercise. Such exercise will be the first of its kind between the two nations.

Some speculate that plans for conducting the exercise will be put forward during the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Japan later this year.

Both the countries share high tension with China. Conducting such an exercise will surely reflect the bond against the bullying from China who claims some parts of India and Japan territories as their own.

Per the reports, a joint air exercise is also on the agenda.
