Just after the withdrawal of ceasefire, Security Forces gunned down three militants in Tral area of Pulwama district. Five troops were also injured in the gunfight.
Acting on specific inputs regarding the presence of Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) militants in Nazneenpora village of Tral area, security forces launched a combined operation consisting of troopers from Army, CRPF and Police. Then the security forces started the encounter and three militants were gunned down.
“The slain militants include one Pakistan national and two locals. Five security personnel including on CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) jawan and four army soldiers have been injured in this encounter,” the police said in a statement.
