India’s premier Tejas Light Combat Aircraft is now gearing up for mid-air refueling test. Currently, the aircraft is going through various ground trials, and the final trials may soon be conducted.
The Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) is now looking after the trials. So far, it has achieved full success in the process, and just the final trial is left. The ground simulation has also been successful in the various spectrums.
One Tejas bearing tail number “KH-2018” was fitted with the refueling probe last year, and was also showcased in Aero India 2018 to the general public.
Tejas is an ingenious Light Combat Aircraft which will be replacing the aging MiG-21s.
