India’s National Defense Academy (NDA) will now provide training to Saudi Army Cadets. Five cadets already reached India and will be starting their term soon.

“The Indian envoy in Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Javed, received five cadets from the Royal Saudi Land Forces who will be traveling to India, and interacted with them ahead of their journey.”-Hifzur Rahman, Indian Embassy spokesman told media.

Shaya Jabbar Al-Ghamdi, Fahad Al-Qahtani, Essam Al-Otaibi, Nawaf Al-Shahrani and Yasser Al-Farhan are the name of the cadets. In NDA, apart from military training, they will get language and adaptation training as well as a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree.

Cadets from many countries get trained at NDA which caters training to cadets from all the three wings of Armed Forces (Army, Navy, and Air Force). It basically provides an initial level of rigorous three years training.
