In a move to increase the ties with South East Asian countries, India is now all set to conduct a joint military exercise with Thailand. The exercise is named as ‘Exercise Maitree’ and will last for two weeks.
The exercise is an annual exercise which involves the Indian Army and the Royal Thailand army. This year, the exercise will be conducted in Mueang of Chachoengsao province in Thailand.
The main motto of the exercise is to bolster the spirit of friendship and enhance strategic military relationships to the next level.
The exercise will involve a series of simulated war games, a joint anti-terror drill, hostage evacuation and much more.
