4 militants including ISJK chief killed in an encounter

In a successful attack on Friday morning, security forces gunned down four militants in Anantnag. Islamic State Jammu and Kashmir (ISJK) Chief Dawood was also killed. One policeman also martyred during the gun battle, and a civilian was killed. Typical clashes also started near the encounter site.

Dawood Sofi, also known as Burhan Musaib, was an A++ category terrorist of the Islamic State Jammu and Kashmir (ISJK), which is said to be affiliated to ISIS.

Per the report, the security launched a joint cordoned off operation after receiving information about the presence of militants in the village of Khiram within Srigufwara in the south Kashmir district. The terrorists were hiding in a house and later were killed in the encounter.
