The Director-General Ilya Tarasenko, JSC Russian Aircraft Corporation ‘MiG’ expressed their desire that the company is ready to manufacture Mig-35 aircraft in India under the “Make in India” initiative.
As per the Director Ilya Tarasenko, the company is ready to offer its latest MiG-35 to Indian Air Force’s global tender for the procurement of 110 fighters for around $20 billion. He also added that MiG-35 fighter fits the requirements of the Indian Air Force and also on the lines of “Make of India”.
The JSC Russian Aircraft Corporation is ready to offer big offset program under which the aircraft will be manufactured in India which will give India lots of advanced technologies.
The MiG-35 multi-role fighter was developed by Mikoyan Design Bureau as a successor of the MiG-29 and is equipped with some of the latest electronic systems as well as engines.
