French President Emmanuel Macron, who is on an official visit to India, revealed that France will invest in the Indian defense sector. He held a joint meeting in Hyderabad House in New Delhi with Indian Prime Minister Modi.
During the meeting, both countries agreed on various issues, including the 14 joint agreements. India also signed a logistic military pact with France which will allow both nations to mutually use their military installation like sea ports to dock vessels.
“India and France have decided to work together to deal with threats of terrorism and radicalisation.”- French President Emmanuel Macron.
“Liberty, equality and fraternity not only echo in France but are also deeply embedded in India’s constitution.”- PM Modi said.
