DRDO gearing for Agni-IV and V test
The state owned Defense Research Development Organization is now gearing up for the crucial test of Agni-IV and V ballistic nuclear missile. Beside the Agni missiles, DRDO is also planning to test the K-4 submarine launch ballistic missile after its last failed test.
The test is supposed to happen this month which will make the missiles inches closer to induction. The Agni-IV is a ballistic missile which can carry the nuclear warhead to a range of 4000 miles whereas Agni-v can carry a nuclear warhead to a range of 5000 miles.
As per reports the missile system is ready and is expected to be test fired in the next few days. The most notable point from the test launch will be the testing of Agni-V from a canister-based launch system. The test will be very crucial for defense preparedness.
