India Seeking Purchase Of Spike ATGM From Israel
India is now looking to purchase the portable SPIKE Anti-tank guided missile system worth $1-billion from Israel.
Israel is one of the biggest arms suppliers of India. If the Spike ATGM is signed in 2017, this year will be regarded as a record year in terms of arms imports from Israel.
According to a previous report, Indian Army is looking to procure 321 Spike ATGM launchers, 8,356 missiles, 15 training simulators and associated accessories from the manufacturer.
Spike ATGM is a fourth generation portable anti-Tank missile system which features fire-and-forget system and can knock off targets at maximum 2.5km range.
