The elite Indian Space Research Organization, which holds multiple records, is now all set to send humans into space. ISRO is in the process of improving the capabilities of recently tested GSLV-Mk III. The MK-III is currently the heaviest rocket ever made by India that is able to carry a large payload.
In a recent interview former Chief of ISRO, K Kasturirangan said that “ISRO is in the process of further improving the capability of this vehicle. It could go up to a ten-ton kind of capability.”
ISRO has been planning a human space mission for a while and now they are more close to fulfilling its goals with the successful development of heavy rocket GSLV-Mk III.
